Independent Sales Representative
(open throughout the U.S.)

Musically Aligned is looking to expand by hiring self-motivated, ethical, proactive, resourceful, creative, independent sales reps to sell our educational songs and downloads. This is a great opportunity for current or retired elementary educators! We pay excellent commissions for excellent people.

Key Ideas:
Excellent products – Musically Aligned is an approved publisher of the California Department of Education
Flexible hours - great, family-friendly schedule
Control your own income - we pay 25-30% commission on all sales
Work from your home office
Flexible sales area (locally, regionally, or nationally)
Make sales via phone, fax, e-mail, in-person, or possibly conferences/trade-shows
Receive a weekly commission paycheck based on your sales
As an independent contractor, you can write off 100% of your out-of-pocket business expenses

We provide ongoing sales support that includes:
Many leads, but you are encouraged to do your own prospecting
Sample product(s) and basic training for how to administer sales
Various marketing materials

You must:
Use great communication skills
Be willing to seek out new opportunities and make sales to teachers, schools, school districts, educational learning centers, nature centers, retail outlets, and other relevant avenues
Exude a professional, positive, charismatic, mature, demeanor
Keep a basic home office (phone, fax machine, and personal computer with access to the internet)
Be able to fax and/or e-mail orders to home office regularly
Work independently and be self-motivated

PLUS, but not a must:
Previous elementary educational sales experience
Retired or current teachers encouraged - familiar with educational systems
Marketing and promotion experience
Conference/Trade-Show experience

Compensation – 25-30% Commission only – This in an independent contractor position and you will receive a 1099 at the end of the year showing your earnings.
